Civic si stock tires < civic sport turbo stock tires

The other night I showed my buddy some twisty roads in the area. He has the civic sport turbo hatchback. We did a run in my car and his car uphill and downhill. What I learned was that was his car was able to take some of the turns between 55-60mph without under steering and tire squeal. With my car it’s already under steering at that speed even with the aid of the lsd. I can only push 50-55mph safely. Ugh....... This is why I’m doing Uber eats. Earn money to wear out my tires quickly. I think I still have another 15k to go.

Did you personally drive both cars back to back?

I agree about the stock HB Sport tires being better. Car and Driver was able to achieve a .93g on the HB Sport stock all seasons, but only got .88g on the Si all seasons. Weird decision by Honda here.

All stock tires should be thrown away period. That tire hop and spinning in 2nd was a no go for me. The new pz4 perelli was my choice since I already have dedicated winters.

How many miles on each car/tires?

Depends on which tyres he has on it vs what you have on yours (brand and size).
