Some feedback on swift springs.

My car is a daily, but I like to track and upset higher end cars. Swift is the stiffest you can go before you go coilovers. But my logic is keep it simple, pretty sure the r&d that went into the suspension on the Si is better than any coilovers at $1k. If olins or Kw made some then I'd opt for that granted I had the 3k they would cost.

Daily driving is fine. Its comfortable enough I dont remember is stock feels much better. Cars not too low so I don't bottom the car out or scrape bumpers bad. Sports mode on you can feel the difference but it's nothing dramatic.

Track driving they hold up really well. Car had hardly any sway or body roll. Thet are predictable and I know when the car wants to break loose on bumps. They keep the car nicely planted. People are surprised I'm only on springs often.

My opinion is they are the best performing spring since I've ran other Si with more power but they couldn't hold up at full speed with me. Most were running D2 or eibach. If you want low then go d2. Everything else is just in the middle to me.

was gonna ask do you have any issues with it being a daily?

@Josh/AWE @Dave/AWE do you have any idea if your exhaust would scrape with a conservative drop like this?
I’m currently running D2 Springs with the AWE exhaust. I don’t scrape unless I’m going over a bump super fast lol. If anything, my front lip will always scrape, but the rest of my build won’t. #paytoplay

@Mr.Apex great write up!

Feel free to add H&R Springs because I had them on for over a year on my Si without any faults or issues. H&R themselves didn't test on an Si hence they don't list as compatible but several locals have these on both Sedan and Coupe Si and non-Si variants.

H&R Sport Springs

Hi all, I never had new wheel or lowered the car before.I've been reading on getting new springs and wheels and I've decided to get the esr sr08 18/9.5/35 offset and probably 240/40 tires. I have 2020 si sedan and want to do a moderate drop just daily driving but do live in cold weather climate. I'm thinking skunk2, swift, HnR or eibach Pro kit and I'm going to install it myself. Which one wouldnt require any camber kit or fender roll please share your experience. TIA

I am new to this platform and forum and had run into troubles trying to find lowering spring info and options for the 10th gen SI (FC1/FC3) so i decided to create a master thread dedicated to the SI specifically like the one that exists here for the Type R (FK8).
Another good reference thread is here where members have posted pictures of most setups.
All info is from a representative at the company or the companies website itself.
If you found this thread helpful please shoot me a thanks id really appreciate it.

Does anybody have ANY reviews on white line springs? I want the least amount of drop but a drop none the less.

Eh, I read that HFP suspension is softer than the stock Si when not in sport mode. Not worth $1600 IMO.
They aren't - they are stiffer than OEM springs. HFP tweaked the low speed damping to be more compliant outside of Sport Mode.

Do you have any info on how much stiffer the HFP springs are compared to stock Si springs?

Grateful to the Civic Si community here. After reading every single post in this thread from the beginning on, I took the decision to go with the Whiteline springs. I have already purchased rigid collars for the chassis and the Type R sub frame brace. I hope the springs add to the ride.

I commute daily into NYC-the Bronx and I wanted to have a stiffer ride but not lose two much clearance. I hope to share before and after shots as well as driving opinions if it will help the next person thinking of buying them.

Warm regards,

Hooked up a friend with the Whiteline Springs, and I'll have them on my Si next month as well. Reverting back to stock dampers from current K-tuned Coilovers setup as I want a more compliant ride :)

0.8" / 20mmdrop, installed in less than an hour by my tech who's done all the work on my car. Was happy to see that alignment was dialed back to spec without requiring a Camber Kit, and that the bump stops didn't need to be trimmed as they did with my H&R Springs when I was running those two years ago.

NOTE: the Whiteline stamp on the springs is not directional, this has confused some forum members as I've seen in the past especially when it comes to the Rear Springs. When you look at the rubber bushings below, it's very easy to see which side the top and bottom bushings go on as the larger end on the coil will accommodate the larger bushing, and smaller end accommodates the smaller bushing.
