    I am new to this platform and forum and had run into troubles trying to find lowering spring info and options for the 10th gen SI (FC1/FC3) so i decided to create a master thread dedicated to the SI specifically like the one that exists here for the Type R (FK8).
    Another good reference thread is here where members have posted pictures of most setups.
    All info is from a representative at the company or the companies website itself.

    Does anyone know if Type R springs fit the Si sedan?

    I wish someone would make stiffer springs for the Si, but w/o any drop. I think the stock height is perfect. The ktuned ones have a desirable spring rate, but the car is dropped too low for my taste.

    I'm thinking about the new Tein coils for the Si, but even on the highest setting, it's 0.8" lower than stock.

    Anyone have pics and/or reviews on the Whiteline ones?

    Eh, I read that HFP suspension is softer than the stock Si when not in sport mode. Not worth $1600 IMO.

    Maybe it's my imagination, but the back looks higher than the front to me. I'm fine with the front height; wish there was a way to lower just the back.

    The lines of the car make it seem like the front is lower.

    If you park on a level surface and measure from the center of your wheels to the fenders, you'll find that the front and rear measurements are near identical. Mine was about 14.5" on all 4 corners.

    Yeah it is not a big drop. Good choice for people that want to limit rub from little to none with aggressive wheel/tire specs with the added benefit of lowering. Considered it myself many times but have changed my interests to Tein Coils

    IF I were to ever lower, I'd probably go with these Eibachs. Wouldn't want anything too drastic. Coilovers won't work with our dampers, correct?

    Ground control does make a coilover kit that fits and works on the stock Si electronic dampers. It claims to have a range of stock height down to 1.75" lower. You can even pick your own spring rates. From reading various reviews though it seems to be more for tracking the car as it makes quite a bit of noise and racket.

    Any coilover kit will work. But once you disconnect the factory dampers, you'll get a light on your dash saying there's an issue with the Adaptive Damper System.

    Some companies sell modules to plug into the factory damper connector that will simulate the electronic load of the factory damper and make sure you don't get any dash lights. People are calling these modules "ADS cancellers".

    AFAIK, Tein is the only company that gives you the ADS canceller modules included with their Flex Z coilover kit.

    But whyyyy get rid of the ADS? haha <= rhetorical question. I reallly like the stock setup and would not get rid of it but I can see why someone might not care for it and go to a manual adjustable setup.
