Civic Si Insurance Rate

How much are you guys paying insurance on your si ? I was quoted 215.00 a month. Great record 25yrs old here in NY. I have a 2018 grand Cherokee under my name as well at 129.00 a month. They said the crash rate is high for that car in my area which sucks I gotta pay a higher price because of idiots flying up and down the streets crashing..

Mine was i think 95.00 a month. Full coverage and no accidents or tickets on my record anymore. 26 years old in wisconsin. Your credit rate has a lot to do with it as well. So if you have lower credit then that will also affect your rates. It's not just how many accidents or tickets you have anymore. Bundling with home and what not also helps. And high traffic places like NY and cali do tend to have higher rates.

Yeah for sure always something happening in my area, need to get out of here lol. My credit is good, but thats stupid if they base it off that.

I was shocked when I was quoted $275 for 6 months for a 2018 Type R which is arriving in 2 weeks.

It's who you are (age, driving record, credit rating, etc) and location, location, location. Believe our quote for a CTR was $245 per year - less than our '12 Si because it has more safety features!

Something not talked about at all is.. 2dr vs 4dr.. 2dr under most insurance is considered sports car vs 4 door is not.. just saying for me a 2dr was quoted 25-35% more per month.

$67/month w/ $500 deductible on an '18 Si Coupe. Would have been lower if I'd not been honest with them and told them I'll be doing 33K miles/year with it.

From my 17 ex hatch to my 17 si coupe my insurance went up $42 every 6 months. Age 32 perfect credit and driving history. State Farm with 250 deductible.

Mine is kind of weird to calculate because with Travelers I pay for liability coverage across 3 vehicles, then separate premiums for each car for the collision and comprehensive. However I can say my '17 4dr Si is twice as much in collision and comprehensive as my wife's '14 RDX. We pay $154 per month for 3 cars, I also have a '91 Miata.
