Championship White still not clearcoated?

IIRC, Honda's Championship White was single-stage (no clearcoat) on the DC2 Type Rs. Can anyone confirm if that is still the case for the FK8? Not suggesting if it's a good or bad thing btw, just curious!

This is the very first I've heard of the ITR not being clear coated. Maybe you're right, I don't really know. That was two very long decades ago

I do know my current CTR is clear coated though. No two ways about it.
