Center brake Strobe Mod.
Not a big deal, and quite easy to do. Existing wires to Center Brake Light unit have very little slack, so cutting them to splice in the Strobe/Flasher unit is a little tricky.
Yes, I CUT the HARNESS... (Screw the Warranty on the Harness)
I used male & Female crimp spade terminal, in such a way, that the Flasher could be removed, and the old wire re-connected with the spade terminals.
I like the effect, and hopefully it may add a little to caching the attention of day-dreamers behind me when I brake, and maybe stop them running into the back of me.
I like the fact I can apply a very little brake pedal, to operate the switch and fire off the strobe, without press the brake down far enough to actually brake. May help with Tailgaters !!
Mp4 video attached in zip file. (next time I'll figure out how to embed it into the post correctly !!)
