Hey,

What's everyone doing/using to keep everything organized and in place inside the trunk? I was thinking of getting the trunk net or milk crate but I'm open to other options. If people can post pics of their stuff and links as to where to get it I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks!

@dinfung Interested to see what you think of them and if they grip enough on the OEM rear trunk tray..

I bought this organizer from Trunkcratepro via Amazon. Over 1,800 reviews, 5 stars, on Amazon, piqued my interest initially. I have owned it for about 3~4 months now and am very happy with it. The red/black color matches the CTR's color scheme. It's huge, very sturdy/thick, and you can move the compartments around with dividers with velcro, and you can collapse it flat, if needed. It also has a whole bunch of pockets inside and outside.

It also has hooks/straps that you can use to anchor it to either side of the trunk; otherwise, it would slide all over, especially on the rubberized trunk floor cover (I have the OEM one - not in the photo) like every other trunk organizer.

For less than $40, it is a bargain, IMHO. Highly recommended.

BTW, Trunkcratepro is great for carrying full grocery bags and large takeout bags. . . . ones that you can't afford to tip over in your backseat or trunk.

Thanks for the tip! Picked one of these up on sale for $31 (Amazon Lightning Deal) on Monday. Arrived Tuesday and it's great.

I got both of these! Love them, the cargotechs are a bit big but I just use 1 for my toolbox and pin it behind the seat and the trunkcrate and it hasnt moved. And I'm using a trunk tray off amazon.

My pleasure. Have you figured out how to attach the straps to prevent it from moving around in the cargo area? :)

Sort of. I just hooked one strap to the latch in the back of the trunk, by the fold-down rear seats. Had the second strap attached but couldn't get it tight, so I'm leaving it off for now and will see how much the tray moves around. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Sorry, I realized that I didn't answer your question. So here is a quick diagram of the strap lengths and anchor buckle locations. Hopefully, it's self-explanatory but if not, please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for posting that. Is that this unit?

Yes, CTRs also have the D-ring tiedowns that you reference.
Yessir, that's the one. Bought it from College Hills Honda via their CR-V section:
https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/08U20-S9V-101.html

College Hills doesn't list it for the '17+ hatchbacks, but Honda's eStore does, at least for the FK7:
https://estore.honda.com/honda/acce...017-civic-hatchback-touring-cvt&oc=CIVIC17163

Not sure why Honda doesn't list it for the FK8 CTR, especially if you've got the same anchor points.
