Car won't start

Tried to start the car like normal and it just turns in the dash and doesn't crank.

Yep..
is it making a bell sound noise? mine did and it ended up being the ring gear coming off of the flywheel... being replaced under warranty.

have you tried unplugging battery for a few minutes than reconnect?
this will hard re-boot you CTRs ECU...could just be a glitch, like modern computers.

Already took it do the dealership, after it making a horrific metallic noise when starting, the ring gear on the flywheel broke free and wouldn't allow the car to start.

sounds like a manufacturing defect but no clue

What code was it when the diagnostics was hooked up?
