So, I'm planning on getting a Type R. Curious as to how many FK owners have anything over the backseat to protect the interior from the car seats. I have one kid in a Britax booster and the other is in a Britax convertible car seat. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. Hoping and praying I take delivery tomorrow morning....

I tried using a towel at first, but after taking the seat out once, found that the towel basically did nothing to protect the seat.

I just have scotchgard for any potential spills or bodily fluids and call it good enough.

I have seen people recommend these. Might be better than a towel.

Thanks! Just curious how well they prevent the car seats from leaving an imprint.

As an FK7 owner with two car seats, thanks for info and product links! I haven’t been using anything so far and luckily all bodily fluids stay in the car seat mostly lol. Got one in a convertible car seat and an infant in a Chico with base. The Type R should be great for the car seats. No problem in my hatch sport and besides the middle seat is useless once you have two car seats lol.

Enjoy!

I have two booster seats in the back. I have a black towel down and then a simple seat protector from target folded over, since they are just boosters and I don’t need to protect the back of the seat. Absolutely no indentations and the kids are in the car 3-4 times a week.

Just picked her up...kids didn't want to wait for back seat protection. They wanted their car seats installed promptly (literally as I walked into the house).

All us enjoyed going "WEEEEEeeeeEEEeEEEEee!!!!!" around town!

Congrats! Once I purchased mine, I came home and made sure both car seats fit in the back. Exciting life I live...

Same here. Got some seat protectors ordered...set to be delivered tomorrow. Then uninstall and then reinstall the seats. Dad-life
