Does anyone know if there is any rhyme or reason to when CarPlay will auto play media vs when it doesnt? Sometimes when i plug my phone in it (listening to XM) it will autoplay podcasts or music, and sometimes it doesnt and continues playing what ever source was playing.

No. I have the same issue with Android Auto. They have a mind of their own.

It's their plan to take over the world. First they take over our radios. Then they start driving themselves anywhere they want. Soon, they will be telling us what to do.

And I have been running into an issue of my radio dimming down the music. Can't figure out whats causing it.
