Nice comparison of the Mishimoto Intercooler and the PRL, a lot of the folks on the Facebook pages don't like it being pointed out that the Mishimoto is just a better intercooler but having installed a few PRLs and my own Mishimoto kit, I definitely enjoy the choice I made. :) My only regret is not getting the black one so I could have a more visible white M on the front.
Yeah, I'm not sure if you saw my Facebook post and the bandwagon was definitely upset. I don't have anything against PRL as I mentioned, I just wanted to be full Mishi and in the process I discovered that this kit is well worth the extra $ the competition. Now, the 27won guys are fabricating their own unit and I would love to see how that one is going to be!

A month in, and I am loving the upgrade. The car hasn't fallen flat on it's face on hot days, and on a cool day at the track :)

For those that follow me on Instagram, I run a small project retailing side markers and other 10th gen parts. I had the pleasure of delivering 190lbs worth of non-perishable food to my local food bank as I was able to collect $250 in donations from those that bought my lights, and then matched it dollar for dollar :)

I was surprised how easily I was able to fit all that in the sedan's boot without needing to utilize the folding seats!

This is my first post on the forum and just been approved as a member. Your thread had my interest completely as you and I both have Volvo's then have the same Aegean Blue Sedan SI's (mine is a 2018 though). Love your mods and will probably pick up some ideas. I am now a FAN! More power to you!

Making me miss my R(s).. Started with an '02 S60 at 16, bought a beat up silver/gobi '05 at 18 that I fixed myself (PCV, suspension refresh, etc) and slightly modded. Had that for a year, found a lower milage magic blue/nordkap and sold my brother the silver one, proceeded to do the full stage 0 followed by elevate dp/exhaust with a viva hybrid turbo and hilton stage 2, team dynamics pro race 18's, kw v2's etc.. It lasted until my senior spring semester. Angle gear was weeping and blew a week before I had it scheduled to be resealed, and the block had a cracked sleeve even though I shimmed it. So the car's now sitting at my parents' house until I figure out what to do with it/ get a house with my fiancé and have more room. Which led me to buy my civic and the last 8 wonderful months of ownership Thanks for the nostalgia trip man. Love your build so far.

After running my Hydrocarbon-Leather Steering Wheel for 14 months, and putting on 20,000 km (12,000 miles), I decided to swap it over with the All-Leather one that I've always been curious about. Being that I retail these, it was as easy as just reaching into a box and pulling out the Leather one

Install is a breeze, put the airbag and control buttons back on, and enjoying the new feel and look. I will say that this flows better with the dash, and overall a classier look making it an OEM+ upgrade vs. the Hydrocarbon-Leather version which definitely looks aftermarket. They are both the same otherwise.

Out of my own curiosity, I weighed both wheels + OEM Si wheel. The Si wheel is just about 1200grams, and either upgrade is 1900grams. The weight is comprised of thicker ,high quality material that doesn't scratch or fade like the Si wheel does, and feels just right in the hands. I measured three key areas where people hold the wheel mostly, as shown below.

How much are these and where do I get them?

Welcome to the forum! I attribute a lot of my learning of the platform to this community, so I would definitely say stick around, make some friends, and learn as you go :)

Attempting to install Brembo 4-piston Calipers from the Genesis Coupe (any model year works). 320mm rotors off the Nissan Rogue w/3rd row seats. Stock Si lines, stock brackets, and slight cutting of the dust shields required for caliper clearance at the rear.

With my wheel setup (Konig Freeform 18x8.5 ET35), a minimum 5mm spacer is needed. I've ordered the H&R 1065640 pair, and will wait full install and testing to give further thoughts. The rotor is only 8mm larger than Si rotors, but the clamping force should be much greater, along with better pads and fluids :)

While I await Spacers, it's also time for some more power baby! 27won Catted DP + FP combo. Let's see how it sounds after install, and if I need to add a muffler at the rear if it's too loud for me.

I have been contemplating adding a single 2.5" muffler - any recommendations are appreciated :)

Fronts only. Only rear solution I can think of is a custom kit from Ceika. They can build you one with the E-brake unit built into it.

A local friend of mine did it with his Volvo V60 Polestar, which is equipped with 6-piston front Brembo brakes with 371mm rotors, and rears were tiny 305mm single piston with E-brake. Now he has 365mm 6-piston rears without losing his E-brake. He paid just under $3,000 CAD

Oh boy! As long as it's not raspy I'll live with it, but if it'll be just loud in general I'll be adding a single muffler. Right now I can cruise on the highway without issue.

Install will either be tonight, or next weekend if I don't get time today

I was looking to add an aFe DP, aFe told me it would definitely make the existing performance Cat-back exhaust louder, which it already is. To quiet it down I added a Glasspack between the cat and the mufflers which did the trick and was relatively inexpensive.

The glasspack is in the same section as the resonator? I did create a thread for 2.5" muffler recommendations, but haven't received any responses to date.
