Can you drive with a broken turbocharger?

Just curious if the turbo ever fails. Is it safe to drive it around or would it damage the engine?

NO! That could be very bad. All sorts of things can be sucked into the engine.

Assuming if just the turbo fails but everything still works, you'll be fine as the MAF can still sense the air intake and adjust as needed.
