Can the Red Ambient Lighting,Red Door Sills, and Red Console Illumination work in the sedan also?

I've seen other members testify that some accessories that aren't specified for their models work. For example, there is armrest illumination that is new for the 2019 sedan/coupe and a few members have had installed on their 16-18 models.

I would ask a dealer to confirm.

I have and lol they said they didn’t know and to come here and ask. Go figure.

it all works. all plugs into the same places. i have brand new side console lights and footwell lights in blue im considering selling. everything else is red in my car.

I find it baffling when a dealership tells you to come here for info. You would think all of those hours of training would mean something.

I have installed Type R FK8 door illumination and console illumination successfully on my Sedan(FC1), and it is working great. The parts I bought are meant for civic type R. Absolutely no problem at all, the interior wiring harness all pretty much the same.
