My brake pedal doesnt have any resistance to it when pushing down. Is that normal? The car still brakes and stop but it about a half of a push on the brakes.

Is your brake pedal a little spongy and mushy with the engine on? I've always wondered if Civics (and new cars in general) were just like that. If I pump my brakes with the engine off, I still get about 1/2" of mushy travel.

Anyone know of a way to make the pedal super stiff? Better brake lines, and stiffer pads? Or maybe just needs a bleed...?
