Hey everyone,

I was driving on the freeway and suddenly i heard a weird noise i pulled over and looked under my car and the plastic bottom panel ripped off my car. Should I take my car into the dealer and does anyone know what that black sticky substance is?

Usually this happens when your mechanic does not reattach the panels on the bottom of your car after a service.
If you have had an oil change or other service in the last couple of weeks, it is probably their fault.

Looks like a oil leak that's been happening for awhile

With how low these cars are, I would go back in. I had a second oil change at my dealership and then whatever monkey did it, never put the panel back on proper and it was catching on the ground. I took it off and hammered it out flat and now just do my oil changes myself on it.
