There’s also a guy who did some modifications to his mishimoto setup and he’s getting super low temps, maybe 5-10 above ambient If I remember correctly. The thread is somewhere maybe I’ll link it later when I get off work

Here's a log from a quick little 20 minute drive from a week or so ago.

Mixed in town and highway driving with no traffic and a couple stops for lights.
81'F 87% humidity
PRL intake hose, BMS MAF
TSP stage 1 map 3
STFT have a tad more variance than I noted and posted earlier with spikes coming while engine braking after 60-80 pulls.

Please let me know if I've been misinterpreting what I've been observing and posting

Thanks a lot for this log. Would be interested in seeing some of your others. I logged my drive home tonight. I'm running an E30 custom tune, PRL Stage 1 with AFE Dry Filter, and a PRL Intercooler Kit. Conditions were nearly identical to yours at 82 Degrees, 87% Humidity. Hardly no traffic, just stop lights, since I'm in the city. 20 mins into my drive, my temps were 31-32 over ambient. I wasn't running any A/C also.

I didn't save my older logs due to a lack of storage on my laptop (30 gig sad :(), but I'll be posting new ones as I continue testing different combinations of parts. I'll revisit the PRL+ stock airbox for the sake of veracity as well

Thanks for your log too. I look forward to looking at it

@Pur3MotioN770 Your log resembles the temp and trims I observed with the PRL stage 1. It's good to see some corroborating data.

Did another drive with the Mishimoto tube and the BMS this morning

78' 91%humidity
mixed in town and highway, multiple 60-80 pulls
TSP stage 1 map 3
iat1 93-104... iat2 91-104
ltft -3 -- -4.7

stft spikes at and after WOT, but well within normal ranges at idle and at constant rpms

high temps at WOT

So far the Mishi tube has roughly the same temp ranges as the PRL tube, but maybe a negligible bit lower. Going to get some drives in during the heat of the day and with A/C to compare. Then, I'll be logging some drives with the stock intake tube.

feel free to look over these logs and give feedback

Thanks!

It goes whoosh!
Temp logs look pretty good
Fuel trims seem ok
Butt Dyno says whee!

It takes more time to gather tools than it does to install it or switch back to stock

All in all I like it and I'm gonna probably stick with it

I ordered and just received this set up. When I tried to insert the sensor into the bms housing, it does not fit. Any help would be appreciated. 2019 si coupe.

I ordered the MAF for Si and had no issues. Is that what you ordered? They have MAF for non Si and race for non Si as well. Did you order for proper MAF?

I ordered this from their eBay channel and it said that it would fit my vehicle. I’m looking to just bore the hole out a little bit more. It’s only off by a tad bit so I’m planning to bring my sensor with me to make sure it fits afterwards.

I ordered directly from their website. I would return to eBay and order from BMS

Sounds like a bad idea. It is probably worth your while to contact the seller for a better solution.
