Best tires for tuned civic?

Hey guys, I am running 17x8 Enkei Racing RPF1 rims and 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. With the ktuner I have I lose a ton of traction off the line since with all my mods and dyno tuned I am pushing 200 hp to the wheels. Suggestions on the next set of tires I can run to not lose so much traction or is this just the curse of front wheel drive? I live in California so summer tires are fine. I have seen threads about lowering boost by gear with cvt, but it doesnt appear like VitViper still does custom tunes.

I'm a huge fan of the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. They offer most of the performance you'd have with something such as a Michelin Pilot Super Sport, at fraction of the cost. I recently paid under $450 for a set of 255/35R18 shipped to my door.

You do know you now have easy Quick Boost by Gear adjustments, right? They help you prevent traction loss and preserve the CVT and are simple to do.

Ya I saw that but kind of timid to mess with the boost. Do you have suggestions what levels of boost level of each gear works for you?

I'd only worry about 1st and maybe 2nd. You can leave the other gears as is. Try some numbers like 15, 16 or 17 PSI and see what gives you the smoothest takeoff. You can't hurt anything with those settings.

You can run at least up to 245-width tires on 8" wide wheels.

And get something that's not all-season. 200 treadwear or lower. Falken still makes Azenis RT-615s, right?

Can't go wrong with Pilot Sport 4S - no trouble with traction with 25psi aside from 1st

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't the OP have an LX? Isn't that the NA 2.0? How would there be Quick Boost adjustments for his engine?

The hatchback only comes in the 1.5l turbo.
