What products do you all recommend for fixing a small ding on the windshield?

I recommend going to a Speedy Glass / whatever your local alternative is and having it fixed, most likely for free.

Yes, an auto glass repair shop. If it's a small chip that can be filled and sealed, insurance will often absorb that cost vs. people letting it turn into a crack and having to pay out a full windshield replacement claim - deductible.
