Hey guys,

Getting ready for the summer here in Quebec and was wondering what kind of upgrade Im going to do next!

Currently on TSP Stage 1, I was thinking either a PRL downpipe or a PRL intercooler.

What would you guys pick?

Well with being quarantined here in California, I have some time to post while working from home! I would go with the Intercooler, it will give you the most benefit. With the downpipe, you will have a louder car and it would be recommended to get a custom tune to get the most out of the DP. Honestly your not going to get that much gain, but more exhaust noise. If you don't mind some additional engine noise for maybe 10 HP gain, than that would be the next thing I would do

Intercooler is the way to go. DP has nice sound and a bit better turbo spool but the car definitely has cooling issues after it's been running for a bit. I can feel the power start to drop after it's been running for about 30 minutes, even more so on mountain runs.

Downpipe definitely spools the turbo quicker. Can make the exhaust quite loud also.

Tires.

Sell the terrible stock Goodyears, throw on a set of Continentals or Michelins summer tires. Firestone's Indy500 is also a good choice.

I would go with Continentals, they are rated just as good as Michelins but are cheaper. It's the number one recommended tire on Clublexus for IS250/350's

I agree, Continental ExtremeContact Sport is my personal tire of choice and would happily replace them with the same or an updated version of them when that comes out :)

Phenomenal dry and wet grip, yet quite, comfortable, and wear well and even

Yes already have my Firestones Indy 500 at home, cant wait to put them on.

I think I'll go with the intercooler!

You misspelled "flex fuel."

Seriously though, he's in the Great White North. I wouldn't bother with any cooling mods until he's actually gonna put down some power first.

Tires and wheels are a great choice too, but flex fuel is best bang for your buck (after a tuner).

He is running the TSP tune and on the stock turbo that is generating more heat. Whether up North or not, it would be most beneficial to maintain stronger combustion.

When this apocalypse is all over, I'm going to raid RR Racing and install their supercharger kit (comes with ECU, DP, exhaust and tune), add their flex fuel kit and I'm good for 450 WHP...

As you can see ive been using my social distancing time fantasizing. A lot

Yes. Unfortunately the Supercharger kit is about $8500, and anyway I wouldn't know what to do with that much power (I barely use what I have right now) so I was just fantasizing
