Hi all. I've been running on Amsoil MTF for about 4 months now, and I've found that my shifts are even stiffer and notchier than they were on the Honda MTF. I'd like to try something else - does anyone have any recommendations?

Hello Marco,

I’m on Amsoil Synchromesh also and enjoying it so far. Are you using the OEM, Acuity or Hybrid shifter?

Have you verified your transmission oil is topped off at 2.3 quarts, by filling until it seeps out of the check bolt? I ask because I didn’t do that initially.

OEM shifter. I did not use the check bolt, but it should be very close (I eyeballed a third of the third quart).

Looking to give another option a shot at this point. I've heard good things about GM Synchromesh?
