The so-called "hatch" gets all the love.

Let's be **intellectually honest**.

This car is a station-wagon. We don't want to say "station wagon" because that term has negative connotation in the US market, similar to SUV.

"Station wagon" is symbolic of the "nuclear family", suburbia, and the gross excesses of the 1980s.

This IS a station wagon, regardless of whatever technical terms you want to ascribe to it by virtue of its lack of rear-facing seats.

If you drive a hatchback, you are a STATION WAGON DRIVER.

No problem with that, but you need to be honest, and somehow, I don't think you will be.

I have the feeling most hatch owners vote hatch; sedan owners vote sedan and coupe owners vote coupe. Just sayin.

Hatchback > Coupe > Sedan

Design between the HB & Coupe is close, 60/40 i had two Coupes in the past but what I hated about the Coupe Touring is the AeroKit, doesn't compare. I hate the seats with the two tone color, not to mention no power.

I do love the Energy Green color, if it Phoenix Yellow i would've pulled the trigger. I'm surprised Honda gave this option.

The last of the Buick Roadmasters used the same 5.7l V-8 as the Corvette and did 0-60 in something like 6.6 seconds. I'd be ok with rocking the woodgrain in something like that. :D

You have no problem with the rear faked vents of the HB?
This is a deal breaker for me.
Fake or real they give the HB an aggressive look with I love. Honda used it on the Si and CivicX are doing a a custom swap so it seems to be a favorite.

Here's my personal take. The 10th gen Civic looks good in all 3 styles but they all are a bit imperfect. The sedan is the most cohesive design overall IMO. But, the sedan's rear proportions are a little off. The coupe's taillights rock, but it looks kind of stubby from some angles. The hatch is sharp from most angles but it's a bit overstyled with the 4 huge fake plastic vents.

What you get with the 10th gen Civic though (no matter what model) is an excellent car with great MPG's and a unique look.

It was between the hatch and sedan for me and I chose the sedan.

I think the REAL question on our minds: is the hatchback a "shooting brake?"

It has 4 doors but was made in england

You most not know what a hatchback is. Just because it has 4 doors with a hatch door dont make it a wagon. A wagon has bigger windows on the side of the trunk. Do some research before you start stating false info. Some sti is a wagon and they also have a hatch. Gave you some examples up there hope u can see the difference.
