Best Etuners Available Now?

I'm about to bite the bullet and get the Ktuner for my 1.5T CVT. In the future I plan on getting a PRL Intake and downpipe. I've read that VitViper no longer does custom tunes. I plan on running the Dual Stage 2 Base Map tune on the Ktuner.

Will my CVT be safe with the base maps and possible bolt-on upgrades? Also, should I get a custom tune? If so, where from now that VitViper no longer does them?
