What floor mats do you guys like? Are there any that say TypeR or do they only say Civic on them?

I have used WT on other cars and loved it, however for my R I ended up buying the front 3dmaxpider and WT rear mat. I chose this combo because I don't like how the 3dmaxpider rear mat is 3 pieces and I feel like its front mats match the "race car" vibe of the car better than the wt or husky. I would have gone with husky if I couldn't have made this combo, just because it is the cheaper set of the the three, to try something different, and also from online pictures it looks like husky covers more of the sides than WT.

Husky for me. I have weathertechs in my other cars but the Husky seemed to cover the sides more than the WTs.

Ideally, I would love to just run oem fabric floor mats but I don't want the carpet to get dirty from the daily usage.

Second this for the 3dmaxspider

Although I don't have them for my Type R since it won't be seeing winter. I do have them in my 2014 Accord Coupe V6.

i based my decision off price of OEM parts. That said, the all season was pretty much the same price as regular OEM. Plus, i'm in Cali and we really only have 1 season..lol. so original OEM all the way for me.

Where did you all get your 3D Maxpider front mats? Amazon seems to be out of stock on the black ones. I am going Weathertech for the back, because I like the one piece design better than the three piece on the 3D, but I like the look of the 3D in the front.

I bought the Weathertech one piece rear mat (direct) and the 3D Maxpider black front mats from a seller on Amazon. Perfect fit, front and back. I really like the 3D front mats, they feel very substantial and look better IMO than the Weathertechs. But I love the Weathertech rear mat. The Amazon listing said shipping in 3 to 5 weeks but it shipped just a few days after I ordered, and got here in about a week.

Deciding on rather getting these (have them in my accord coupe) or the HFP red mats.

Can you post some photos installed?

I took a risk and got a set from ebay named motortrend all weather mats for $30, they're not an exact fit but its pretty darn close. I can cut it to get it fit exactly.. but works for me.

Looks good! How did you swap the Type R badge from the stock mats to the 3D Maxpiders?

I might just have to copy that idea of the badge.

Review on :
OEM all season - high 08P17-TBA-300. They have been working fine this winter season here in Chicago - (a bit of jugglery to take the water out without drip due material and not walls tall enough), However after closer inspection to the Weathertech one, I have to say, they are better than OEM, due their taller walls & fit. I'm not buying another set anyways, but If anyone is on the market for a feedback, here is mine.
