Stoked!!!!!

Will post slips soon, but Worst was 14.8 and it had been a the time my best 60ft but car popped out of 4th. After a Bunch if 14.2’s finally got a 14.1, then met the car sit for a while and got back out and busted out a 13.91 @ 98 beyond stoked with what I have in the car and getting these times! It’s not even cool yet was 82 when got the 13.9!!! I figured out the launch finally as well! 3500, brake hold, slip on launch, Sport mode of course and traction control off! Went from 2.3 60ft best before tonight to 2.1, then 1.97 on the 13.9! Took my middle child with me as well! She complained we used to go all the time but it had been years since she went with me! My 13.9 which was an 8.8 in the 1/8th!

Looks like I may have sold the Gold Rota’s, some garage stuff actually trading and since May be putting my BBS’s with the brand new tires back on ordered up some rear camber arms! GodSpeed arms for 160 shipped! I’ll dial the rear camber myself and be happy then switch out the rims after the arms arrive! The Rota’s have definitely grown on me but either way happy to have the Camber arms enroute! Garage cleanup and selling of some stuff from older vehicles and paying for some of the items I have recently purchased! Then next level of mods after cleaning up and paying for what I have done.

Got an offer I couldn't refuse - Gold Rota's are gone, back on my BBS's now so happy I ordered the rear camber arms, will throw them in this weekend when I do oil change, and throw in the TypeR subframe mount that came in. Have some touch up paint as well so may do the touch ups on the front of the car and then do my synthetic wax again as it's due! Have Finals this week so nothing tonight or next few nights but I'm stoked, got a new Concealed Carry weapon that was un-fired for those Rota's!!!!!!!! S&W Shield 9mm;-) A good IWB holster, and 250 rounds for the Rota's, could NOT be happier with that trade:)

Thats not a bad trade at all consider the Rotas were raced on and the weapon was unfired lol. If I'm calculatin the price of the Rotas at around $625 for all 4 (based off an internet search) vs the SW Shield almost 400 bucks + the IWB probably close to 100 + the 250 rounds about 40 bucks = 525 for used wheels, thats a good deal for everyone

I paid 200 for the Rota’s;) The benefit of people getting in a bind!

damn I was thinking you paid closer to 400... damn good come-up haha. Also on the Shield... make sure you test with whatever carry ammo you like. My buddy had one and it didn't like HST at all, FTF at least once per mag. Was junk for him as thats his go to carry ammo. I think he traded it for a G43.

Thinking due to my unhappiness with the Copper on the wheels may be doing a hammerite finish in either Black or Copper, the hammerite is very tough, and it goes on with a texture which would hide the little imperfections that I don't like seeing... Either way, will throw a random pic on from recently, and my rear camber arms arrived a few minutes ago!

Seriously done with mods for a while till I pay all the interest free stuff I bought off, and also need to fnish this damn half sleeve I have been workign on for 2 damn years now, have another half sleeve from my Air Force time to do as well... Damn cars cutting into tattoo money:)

Changed the oil last night, installed rear camber arms - WHICH ARE A BITCH DUE TO FUEL TANK LOCATION AND DRIVERS SIDE IS A NIGHTMARE DUE TO FUEL FILLER TUBE! Anyway, got them eyeballed in on camber will probably go get alignment checked soon but it's definitely better than it was, and i'll adjust with string method I was just done around 11pm last night and needed to shower etc.

Threw the TypeR lower brace in, and removed my Mishimoto Catch can - it's for sale for $160 shipped as well.

No super noticeable difference with the lower brace in, once i have the front upper picked out and in I know it will help out, but by itself on my normal drive nothing i noticed, of course it was under 15 bucks so why not!

Rear feels a bit tighter though with the rear camber arms, removed some rubber and went with the Godspeeds so that makes a bit of sense:)

How long did the rear camber arms take to install? I am doing springs this weekend and was thinking about doing the camber arms at the same time. If they are a huge pain, I might just pay a shop to install them when I get the car lined up after the springs settle.

Passenger side took around 45-50 minutes as you can fit a shallow 17mm or ratcheting wrench on and fumble with it. Drivers side took easily 90 minutes - The eyelet didn't watn to fit in on the outside so i grinded it down a bit, maybe a mm as I didn't want to mess up the aluminum portion on the rear spindle. Then the fuel fill line and vent tube take an already cramped situation and make it 100 times worse! Eventually I found a way but my hands are ALL cut up today! Access to the 17mm bolt on the drivers side is a Real biatch, I hope i never have ot mess with that bolt again, I have larger hands, but average sized hands will have issues as well.

FYI, it's not hard at all, it's just time consuming and the inside bolts are super freaking hard to get access too! The outside is a breeze, I had a ratcheting 17mm and a 17mm socket and got the spindle side off in moments...

Thanks. I was quoted $120 to install the camber arms, so I'm wondering if it might be better to just have them thrown on when the alignment is done....
