"Authorization failed" error - now what do I do?

I'm not sure what happened, but recently I have been unable to view the false Maintenance Minder message nor open the HondaLink app on the HU. All I get is this Authorization failed error.

There's no way to login.

On my iPhone, I can successfully log into the HondaLink app.

Pretty confusing stuff. What's going on?

Seriously though, that's a real good question. Have you tried rebooting the HU then try to access the message? I'm not sure if the message goes away if you reboot the HU.

Hold the audio power button for a few seconds and a pop up will appear asking if you want to reboot or factory reset. Reboot.

In the end, I solved the problem by deleting the HondaLink apps from my phone and reinstalling them.

This cleared the authorization error.
