Just playing with Hondata and wondering if anyone has chosen this option?

This is how you blow a motor. I wouldn’t mess with stuff I don’t know.

These must be the same people who owned a Subaru before this car. I always see them complaining about motors failing and you ask what’s done and they list off all their bolt ons and a “pro tune” they tweaked lol

this is why i believe some of the stuff should be "disabled".
It's great that hondata allows us end users to touch the stuff but they really should think about disabling some of the them. When things blow, people are always quick to judge the tuning system.

A simple lack of response would have been fine instead of fear mongering.
Or a "No, I am scared to." :)

And this!?
You want me to have less product for my hard earned money?
Why, because you are the Internet Tuning Police?
I am a big boy Dad and will suffer the consequences of all my own decisions. :)

Sorry that you did not like my valid tuning question.

i answered your question in my first post. i don't care to be the "internet tuning police" nor do i care what other people do with their car that they paid their own money for.

You might be a big boy dad but not everyone can be a big boy dad like you :(

Sorry to be off topic but has anyone tried the option that reduces knock sensitivity?

I had it turned on and could barely reach 20psi. Hovered mostly around 18-19.

Turning it off I can reach 26-27.

Thought I would turn it on because I was using 94

@Hondata, do you know why that would happen

No, I have not tried it but I do know certain modification choices don't stack well. I was told that by another forum member and it proved true when working with my 2019.

Firstly, I am never here to be sensational and I can be counted as everyone's friend who wants one. My apologies, I was just being a playfully offended asshole, I know your heart is in the right place.
Tuning freedom is very important though and I am glad that it does exist at the present Hondata level.

P.S. You must be insinuating that I missed a comma between big boy and dad. I think it was indeed grammatically incorrect.

no i do agree with you that tuning freedom is important. But they really need to put more caution notifications onto them. i.e. the anti lag feature. anti lag seems to have blown alot of motors.
Although that is totally on the end users fault, people will automatically assume the tuning platform is the cause of the damage which is an unfortunate thing.

While Ktuner seems to have more daily driveability tweaks, it seems like Hondata allows more accessibility to more tuning adjustments and tables. I guess that can be a good or bad thing. For a seasoned tuner, I'm sure that's great. In a novice's hands, it could lead to a blown turbo/engine.
