Anyone running 265/40ZR18 on a 18x9.5 wheel?

Hi im got my wheel in finally , was lookin to get tires my wheel spec is 18x9.5 +44. i want a little more meat on the tires cause the city road sucks. if anyone got any input on those spec 265/40ZR18 please let me know . i see mostly ppl running 265/35.

I've ran 265/35/18 and now running 255/40/18, I like the taller sidewall

I just put 255/40’s on a 18x9.5 wheel (see p150 of the aftermarket wheel thread) and the amount of sidewall is perfect, if you go any larger you are entering balloon tire land.

Oh, and the 40 series sidewall rides perfectly. All those old expansion joints/small pot holes/lips you cringed while driving over them in the stock 30 series sidewall tires magically go away and you just smile all the time....
