Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Do you think a 40 profile will fit under?? like a 245/40R20
Are you lowered on Swift’s? It’ll rub if you go 245/40 on turns. I had the shop test fitted some sizes to see if it’ll clear and so far the ones that cleared for me was 245/35.

No I’m stock, where exactly would it rub? Did you try a 245/40 or a 255/40

Tried both on Swift’s, it rubs on the inside front fender when you turn the wheel/hit a bump. You’re stock height so you should be fine. With stock height I’d prob go 245/40, but that’s just me.

Do it ever touch or get close to the strut?

Well, I've got about 8500 miles on 2 of my tires and they're down to belts. It's time for some new rubbers! I'm going the 255-35-20 route as well. I'll probably get closeouts off TireRack or whatever. Firestone Firehawks if no hookups are available. We'll see!

I never really rotated tires and I enjoy my 1st and 2nd gear pulls...!

Does any one have recommendations for tires? I’m about to buy some 255/35R20, I have been looking at the nitto nt555 G2 and Firestone fire hawk Indy 500. I’m in Florida so it’s pretty warm all year around in winter it does get in 40-50 a few weeks and it’s my DD

So I just went ahead and called a firestone tire shop near me, as my dealer didn’t want to order 255/35 for the oems. I’m paying 840 OTD that includes to mount and balance and alignment (if needed) I had an alignment done about a month ago when I had hit some pot hole and blew both my front and rear passenger tires. Other than that, road hazard are included for the life of the tire, prorate the tire depending on the thread. they will also patch it up for free and that is at any Firestone. I went with the fire hawk Indy 500. Will review and upload pics once they are installed. Also there’s a $60 rebate.
