Anyone noticing foam coming out of the tail lights?

I noticed this yesterday:

there's a small piece of foam that's sticking out on both sides of the spoiler/tail light area. It's more pronounced on the driver's side for me, though.

Does anyone else have this happening to them? I don't know if it's always been like this and I'm only noticing now or not lol.

I need to go to the dealer at some point for this stupid loud rattle in the cabin--will probably have them take a look at this while I'm there. Sounds like it's normal though OR it's come loose from driving vibrations and we all never noticed before

yeah it wasn't there when i bought it that's for sure because i would've noticed it when ceramic coating the vehicle.
if it bothers me, i'll just either wedge it back in or maybe remove that part and set it back under again.

at this moment, it doesn't bother me enough to put the effort into it lol.

This is not specific to the type R. I have a Ex hatch and mine is the same way
