Bought the 3 in 1 warranty (Windshield, wheels/tires, key fob) when I purchased my car. I know Honda is f*cking picky as hell on what they will cover.

Will slight curb rash on OEM wheel be covered? Anyone know?

Do you mean kerbing or paint defect?

like you turned the corner to sharp and scratched the wheel a bit. wheel isn't bent just aesthetically paint scratched off.

I'd be astonished if any damage you caused to your car would be covered under warranty. That would be an insurance claim and probably not worth the deductible to get it repaired.

    Edit: Disregard. Reading > me

Not the factory warranty. He bought the extended wheel/tire protection, so it probably is covered depending on severity.

If it's like the package I was pitched when I bought my car, you have $X over Y years worth of coverage which can be put towards repair/replacement of damaged wheels, tires, lost keys, shattered windshield, etc.

I know you are looking for the short version answer, but what is written in the warranty that you purchased? Does it spell out damage repairs like the one you have? If so, there is your answer!

I bought a plan called Ding Shield / Ding Wizard which included ultimate wheel coverage. If that's what you bought, it will cover cosmetic rim damage. I got a small scuff on mine doing the same thing you did and I just put in a claim, seemed pretty painless. Just waiting for them to call me to make an appointment.

Curious where this ended up. When I bought my car and they tried to sell me the 3-in-1 warranty they specifically told me it didn't cover curb rash

Update: Got my curb rash fixed, they smoothed out the surface, patched the paint and then re-did the clear coat on the whole wheel.

EDIT: Here is before and after. I couldn't even find where the original scuff was. Looks brand new.

No, it only covered cosmetic damage to the wheel and only minor scuffs. I have a separate road hazard insurance that does cover chips and structural damage. Highly recommended, these wheels and tires ar fragile!
