I am searching for anyone here who have changed their HDMI exhaust tips without changing their entire exhaust set up since I am not ready yet to modify my exhaust system but just to get rid of the horrible tip. I'm considering a two dual tip exhaust. See attached picture. Anyone know the size of the two twin pipes fused together before the end of the exhaust?

This is what I would suggest you do. Although a performance exhaust will give you a better sound and a bit of a performance boost, it will also bring you LOUD. They are also expensive and unless they have a resonator, droning at highway speeds which will become old very fast. Anyway, my advice is stick with the OEM exhaust and find a tip you like

BTW, I would stick with a two tip exhaust. 4 tip is just to rice IMO. Also you may lose some back pressure with that many tips

Who makes the tips that you show?
I'd love to do the same thing you are talking about, but with just two tips (not 4).
Purely aesthetic.
I wouldn't mind a performance gain, but I'm more interested in the appearance.

I'll see if I can put some dial calipers on them this weekend, and figure it out.

Just some stuff I was searching on Aliexpress and eBay. There's a lot out there but you have to be sure with the pipe size so that if you bring it to your local muffler shop, they will not a hard time fabricating or modifying the weld.

Any size tip should work, a muffler shop should be able to use an adapter to fit it if its to big or small. I believe the stock piping is 2.5", so you should get a tip with a 2.5" adapter
Advice I received from @amirza786 on a previous thread.

I've had mine for several thousand miles now. I have the resonator, but the car sounds great, no howl or whistle.
The resonator is extremely important in eliminating high pitched frequencies that cause droning. Without it even the best mufflers will not eliminate droning, so unless one likes this sound a resonator delete will not contribute to a better sound. You were wise to keep it
