Anyone buy their Civic with a warranted coating to the interior?

I thought, for sure, I would have a dog again quickly, and have leather. So, I went for some sort of spray coating they apply that covers everything on the inside aside from glass and a few other things. I'm about up to get that recoated, and am curious if I can fulfill what may be a non-exclusive contract with the product company and not the dealership. They're alright, but far from me now.

I would worry about the dogs nails scratching the leather.
Some dealers just spray on a spray can sealer and charge you BIG $$$$ I'd do it yourself.

A rear seat cover might be a better choice for protection then a can of spray...
