Any Coupe or Sedan owners regretting their purchase since the si is out?

Would you trade in your coupe/sedan for an si version?

For me im personally not regretting it, im more then happy with the 1.5 tubo. The fact that all you get with the si is just 25 extra horsepower, only a manual transmission, an extremely ricey spoiler, and no auto start is just not my cup of tea but i'd love to know what other people are feeling. However If you're just about to join the 10th gen club then yeah I do think the si would be a great choice but for someone who already has a 10th gen it doesn't seem worth it. But again what are some of your guy's thoughts?

No SI and type R here, anyway i think the difference is not enough to justify the eventual trade-in of a manual 1.5
If i had to buy a new Civic now i would possibly use the SI an argument to get a great deal on an ex-t or sport

Si, no. Type R, I would've but again time was a factor for me.

Especially the Coupe, Honda messed up with that hideous rear spoiler. Never a fan so I was surprised they got the Type R right that I will be buying it.

With no remote start and no Honda Sensing, I'd never consider getting the Si.

Stupid question since the sedan/coupe came out over a year ago. Are there some nice things that the Si/Hatch have that I don't? For sure, but it definitely was not worth waiting over a year for. On the premise that the Si has the same engine too the gap is closing real quick.

For those with an Si, good for them. But don't forget they spent a year meddling around this forum with no avatar picture and only participating in the 'hype/anticipation' threads.

The Si has the CR-V engine. Different turbo and pistons than the ex-t, touring.
On top of that it has:
Variable ratio steering (not sure if the same)
Helical LSD
Adaptive dampers
Bigger brakes- 12.3" up front
Thicker stabilizer bars
More rigid bushings and upper control arms shared with the Type R

I strongly considered both the Sport 6MT hatchback and EX-T 6MT before deciding on an Si.

I liked the looks and versatility of the Sport hatchack, but didn't like the lack of a sunroof, pushbutton start, CarPlay, etc.

The EX-T was okay, but I didn't care for the lack of a leather steering wheel.

Ultimately, I couldn't find either a Sport or EX-T with the 6MT - nothing but CVTs everywhere around me.

I was able to snag an Si right off the truck yesterday.

Here is a list of differences between the EX-T 6MT and Si...

If you already have a Sport or EX-T, it wouldn't make much sense to trade for an Si. But, if you're starting fresh it's kind of a no-brainer unless you truly need the versatility of a hatchback or simply can't stand the looks of a sedan or coupe.

I got my 17 EX-T about 2 weeks ago, had been considering an EX-T or EX-L since the 16's came out. Hadn't been paying much attention recently, so didn't know the SI was right around the corner. Had I know the SI was coming right now I may have waited another month or two and got the SI. But I don't think I could go back to a manual for my daily commuter though.

I'm happy with my EX-T w/ the CVT though in the two weeks I've been driving it. Huge upgrade over the 2016 Mazda 3 I had and 2013 Civic EX before that.

Got a civic lx sedan with the intent of getting a Si at my two year mark but after looking at the price and driving one I will get a elantra sport or civic sport

Nope. Just bought my EX-L sedan a month ago and love it. The thing is, IMO the hatch bumper with the huge vents on the Si sedan looks "off".
