I have been running E85 without a tune for the past 1,000 mi (with 1,700 miles on the odo). The dash lights recently lit up, and the only code I am getting is a P0171. I expect the code on E85, because the amount of exhaust O2 is too high for the amount of fuel injected using pump gas. Everything works fine except for the brake hold and cruise control. Anyone have a similar experience?

You need to have a tune for e85 !! You can't just full your tank up with e85

I added some gas to achieve roughly E60 in the tank, and drove it a few miles; the lights went away.

Edit: Brake hold functionality returned, but I haven't tested cruise control.

this is an awful idea and you should stop until you get a flex fuel kit and a tuner or a custom tune. You are freaking your ECU out. I imagine your fuel trims are AWFUL

You should definitely not run e85 without any kind of tune.
