Camber, and as I discovered the sidewall has a big impact too. I went from having front passenger side rub with a 235/40 more often on bumps (H&R Sport Springs, -1 Camber, Tab Bent), to having only one instance of rub so far with a 245/35, over the same bump with a 160lb passenger at the front. Wheel is 18x8.5 ET35from my experiences camber has helped alot! Previously I was running a 255/40 on the same wheel and was slightly rubbing when I had little to no camber in the front.
