Hello FK7 owners I'm fairly late to the party and a NEWB regarding mods. I'm currently looking to pick up some VOLK RACING TE37 SAGA TIME ATTACK. After scouring the forums and looking at pictures I'm torn between the 3 choices as far as what the wheels are offered in. Note that I will be lowering the car .5in - 1in and also planing on upgrading to 27won BBK up front. I want to have a flush or close to flush fitment with no rub or fender work. Any pro tip from anyone is welcome. Try not to bash me too hard if this question is getting stale T_T. Thank you all in advance.

my rear is 18x8 Offset 45 with 15mm spacers that is total 18*8 offset 30 lowered for 53mm and there is for a small gap just for a little finger , and i dont rub,
but i also have -2.5 degree natural negative camber at rear
i get my front spacers tommorow and i will tell you if it rubs

i guess rubbing has a lot to do with spring stiffness as well, i am 6k front 5k back, i hope i helped a little....

+41 offset is the best fit for 235/40. It also gives almost flush look with no rub. +34 will rub hard time if lowered later. +44 with 255/35 will still rub but may not as bad as +34.

I would say +34 offset. My 18/9.5/+35 with 245/40 tires does not rub, unless I run over something huge. I have literally only rubbed one time in over a year /20k miles.
The +35 set should totally work well with the 235/40. My opinion is that +44 option should be discarded completely. I do not think it will be flush enough for your liking. I think the +41 will also fall short of your goal. Although I am not 100% certain that +34 will not have any poke. I am not good at wheel/tire math. I am just comparing to my own setup. Granted I have a little more poke than you do, but my set up is more aggressive. I would feel completely confident in lowering .5 to 1'' without have serious rubbing issues.
There will always be dispute over this subject, just sharing my experience. Good luck. I freaking love the look of the time attack wheels. I am extremely jealous. Make sure to post pics!

Wow that's nice +30 offset is the sweet spot for 8 wide, square flush. I wonder what 8.5 will be??

Smart move! You can remove the spacer and put in wider tyre in future.

Unfortunately the first wheel is unavailable I've contacted more authorized dealers to see if they still have them. What happens when they're limited edition :cry::cry:

I did Find these tho IMO they are perfect specs

Avid1 AV27 18x8.5 +35 (which is the proper offset for flush Fitment in my opinion)
Tires: firestone Indy 500 255/35r18

(last photo is my set up now with a Brembo BBK conversion.. excuse the dirtiness and the matte look of the tire. Been a couple raining days here in sunny CA haven’t had a clear week to get it washed)
