Hey guys

I just bought a 2019 CTR (Blue) & and need some help on what size rim makes the most sense with the suspension set up stock.
I am going to get the advan RS-D wheels but I need help with the offset and rim size.

So 5 x 120
18 x 8.5 35mm
18 x 9.5 25mm
18 x 9.5 35mm ( This is my best choice )
19 x 8.5 35mm

I might drop in the future but I want to make this decision for stock suspension.

thanks in advance

+35mm is pretty aggressive and you will likely have rubbing issues if you lower. Even stock, you will get some rubbing at full compression. Advans does have a +50 spec available that would be better for our cars but they're harder to get.

1. I like the 9.5 +35 offset.
2. If you bought a CTR, then why did you make your username civicsi1211?

thank you-

So stock suspension I want the specs to be at +50
Any thoughts on the 8.5 vs the 9.5 as far as fitment or tire options.

19’s worth it or stick with 18’s?

1. I like that size too but I don’t want any rubbing issues or fitment issues.
2. I have been on the civic forums for a while. 8th and now 10th so I just kept the same user name.

Generally, +45 or higher is recommended for our cars, so yes advans +50 will work great.

As far as width, either should be okay, keep in mind stock is 8.5, on which you can run upto 255 width tires. If you want more grip you can run 9.5 and go up to 275. But I'm not sure if you'll rub at 275. I think 265 is safe.

thank you-

I went with the RZF2’s in 18x9.5 +45...and love them. Stock suspension, fills out the wheel wells a bit better than stock, with not even a hint of rubbing on 255/40 series tires

Sweet

Do the 19’s look significantly better?
What tire size did you go with?
Any rubbing issues ?
I personally feel like the 19s fill it in a bit better. When I was stock height I ran 265/35/19 with minor rubbing up front. Now that I'm lowered on swifts I went to 245/35/19 and have zero rubbing.

I love advans and love my RZ-DF wheels. As for rubbing. If you are not lowered, you should be fine on the 35 offset...if you rubbed with that on factory suspension it would have to be one heck of a dip lol. I've rubbed with that offset on 18x9.5 with 265/35 tires while being lowered....I plan to use 255/40 and see how that does...yes it's taller, but my issue was always the width
