42k dealer mark upon supra. And you though Honda dealers were bad.

People should be free to complain about any markup from a dealership above MSRP. You don't see authorized Rolex dealers selling sport watches above MSRP because they aren't allowed to. Whether it's $1 or $42,000, manufacturers shouldn't allow their dealerships to do it.

The reason markups exist is because people are willing to pay for it. Dealers aren't being stupid, they're just taking advantage of the system. IMO they should be regulated though, but that's probably never gonna happen.

An F86 or BRZ with just a SC walks this ridiculous car around a track all day.
Even people with $ wouldn’t buy at that price - they could have something much nicer than that for less.

If no one pays it they won’t do it. Seems simple enough.
Yes they will. remember when the Mazda Miata came out dealers where doubling the price and these idiots where buying them at that price I’m sure someone with money to burn want to be the first one with that Toyota/ BMW THING

If there's one thing we can all agree on it's that we hate dealerships and it's time manufacturers just started selling cars straight-to-consumer. Unpleasant & sleazy 20th century business model
I hear you but unfortunately that’s not going to change

I didn’t say people wouldn’t. I said they shouldn’t. No demand at 42k markup means they’ll change their tune

I agree but you have that one person that wants to be the first one to own it
