I got some GoPro footage and some sound clips from my dash cam. Need to process and check them. I'll get a few up within the next few days.

I didn't realize you had a 91 tune? You ever have a thread I missed about it? I was kicking around for a while getting a flex fuel kit and tweaking the basemap on it but more and more I like the idea of just ditching the stock turbo and seeing about making something that's gentle in the middle and opens up top for something kind of linear.

Not on here lol. W1 turbo blows the stock out of the water and is a lot better for your rods as torque comes in later and holds boost till redline which is set at 6800rpm from DRob. I have E85 station coming to my city in Northern California like 5 minutes from my house so I'll be re etuning with DRob again for that E30-40 blend tune.

Yeah... the closest E85 to me is over 20 minutes away. Kind of a drag.

I went back over to 27WONs blog as I'd glossed over it. I knew there was basemaps and they made mad power on ~E40 but had totally overlooked that 91 octane tune which looked pretty great. I have 93 where I'm at and wouldn't mind a nice linear tune that climbs far beyond that the stock turbo does. ~275 whp near redline is O-K by me.... especially if I could get it cut down to 250-275 ft-lbs at the peak.

If you have instagram you can take a look at all of DRob’s W1 turbo tuned Si’s.

Ugh... I have "The Facebook" and have managed to not do other social media things. Insta-tweets and what not.

I'll see if lurking is possible though...
You can still click the link and look at his posts. All dyno results are on there.

Did you have to ask DRob to set red line to 7k? I'm pretty sure mine is set to 6.5

Fresh off the dyno!

292whp / 258wtq on E35 ethanol blend
261whp / 236wtq on 93 octane
Nice job. Congrats. I think I would really enjoy that power curve. Mine feels slow tell 4000 rpm then goes bonkers and makes it kind of hard to control. Kind of gets old after awhile honestly.

He sets it at that but only for Si’s. The non Si’s can only be set at 6500rpm because of it’s internals being different than that of the Si
