With my stock tires almost shot at 18,000kms, I want to have new tires ready for the spring, and I’m not ready for new wheels.

Does anyone see any issues going to a 255/35/20 with the stock wheels? I know it’s going to raise the car a bit and I’m okay with that.

Thanks, - Northern.

You’re going to beat me to it. Seems like it will be fine. Technically throwing off the speedometer but there are worse things. I ‘think’ the taller tire will let you hit 60 in 2nd so that’s awesome.

I went with 255/35 after slicing my sidewall open. Definitely a more comfortable ride, however I could definitely feel the added weight with the bigger rubber. As noted above, your speedo will be off.

How's the handling compared to 245's?

Was just about to post this question about switching to 255/30 lol!

I went with Michelin Pilot A/S 3+. The car still handles great! Obviously the A/S tire is no where near as sticky as the stock Conti’s and other tires out there.
