Sport Touring (CVT) with all the goodies hasn’t changed since 2017 (other than new fake vends for 2020). I’d buy a used 2017 ST (CVT) for 20k-21k before dropping 24k on a Sport or EX hatch.

I was able to purchase a new 2019 sedan sport for 21,000 otd. Pretty good deal considering I’m also in the Bay Area. Check out Hayward Honda, I got it a few months before the new year though and at the end of the month, so that probably played a factor in why I was able to cut down the price a good amount.
I got my Civic from Hayward Honda, absolutely loved them. I wasn't pressured into anything and got my car for a good price.

Phoenix, AZ for base 2020 civic hatchback sport CVT with no options:

  • Invoice: $23026 (includes about $960 destination charge and about $250 regional advertising charge)
  • Discount: -$750 (COSTCO)
  • Honda rebate: -$500 (1/20-3/20 from Honda)
  • Price after discounts: 21776
  • Honda financing incentive (military or college): -$500
  • Tax: $1767 (8.05%)
  • license/title fees: $448
  • dealer document fee $499 (not regulated in AZ)
  • TOTAL OTD: approximately $23960
Note1: If you use Costco, in addition to the discount, after you are done you get a coupon for 50% at the dealership up to $400 (I used it to buy all-weather OEM mats, trunk tray, and splash guards)

Note2: Even though I told the dealer I wanted a base model, for some reason it came with the door/handle protective 3M and window tinting already on (my guess is they put the 3M tape on at the plant)(and dealer forgot to not tint my windows since tint is on everything in AZ). No charge.

Checkout Stockton Honda. I just picked up a 2020 Hatchback Sport 6 speed manual for 23.6k OTD with wheel locks, trunk tray, and splash guards. They gave me 23,765 OTD originally and would hardly budge with the price. But with 23.6 was significantly better than anything bay area dealers were quoting me. Most wanted 24.3-25k OTD.

That's already a good price. I got my 2018 HB 2 years ago for 25k OTD in bay area before MT versions came out
