i had posted this in the master wheel thread but think it might get missed there

Can someone confirm If a 20x9.5 +40 offset will work without any issue on a stock height r ?

I have 245 35 20 tires for the wheels

Don’t want them to stick out at all ..anything past flush is a no go

Appreciate the help in advance

It will be a slightly taller overall tire and will poke out a little over an inch farther than the stock setup (33 mm). I imagine it would fit without rubbing since plenty of people are running 18x9.5 or 18x10 wheels in the +35 range without issue. Also, I think several folks have been running 245/35/20 on stock wheels without issue.

Why stick with 20s if you're getting new wheels though? 18s or 19s are much more plentiful for both wheels and tires and will give you a smoother ride anyway since you'll be able to run a taller tire (ex. 245/40/18)

I actually already have a set of 19s but have a new set of 245 35 20 tires and wanted to have a set to swap around for a diff look here and there

Don’t mind the dealer sticker ..haha I just got the car and they left all that stuff on

Thanks for the reply ..I know the tire will be taller ...I just want to make sure the wheel isn’t gonna stick out past flush and look stupid

What size are the 19" Motegis that you have on the car now? You can use the same calculator above and see if the 20 would stick out any farther than the 19" wheels currently on the car.
