2020 Type R shift knob

Has anyone put the 2020 Type R shift knob on their Si? Several sites have this listed at under $100. If you have it post picture please.

Well I just went ahead and purchased this for myself. I also bought a new Red Alcantara shift boot. So as soon as I get some free time, I'll post some pictures.

I read that the new teardrop knob in the R is only 90g. That's half the weight of the OEM Si knob. I would went for the S2000 titanium knob if I was you!

Not sure yet, I think some CTR owners are using the Acuity nut. But I'll post it when it comes in.

Well I got the nob today and it's really nice. Great weight compared to the Si's. You don't need the 54103-TGH-G00 nut if using your Si, shifter. It actually makes it difficult to use the locking collar with the new nut. So the old one went back on.

I'm still getting used to it. It does sit a little taller, but the feel and grip is a lot better. I used to worry about moisture from hand dirtying the boot over time, now I don't touch it. So far so good. Although I bet it works better with the CTR shifter.

Has anyone actually weighed the 2020 Type R shift knob yet? On AFH Honda website it says 1 lb? Accurate? 90 G seems too lightweight as stated above.

I'm glad I bought this one over any others. It works really well in my hand and I love the feel and texture. I think now having the CTR shifter in the car, puts the knob at the perfect height and position for me.

It feels heavier than the old one. @tinyman392 said it weighs 8.1 oz (230 g).
