2020 SI HPT Package/Summer Tires

What tires does Honda include if you opt for the HPT package?
Trying to see if worth the $675 or whatever they charge.

goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2 summer tires. theyre great tires. mine came with them by accident cause the dealer fucked up on the 2019s in their first batch they released.

Got ya and thanks for info. I may stick with non HPT tires, sell the all seasons and go MP4S because I run snow tires in winter.

HPT seems like it only comes in certain Si colors, does that make sense?
What are the stock non-HPT tires? I've had F1 Assymetrics before and they were great, but if the stock tires last longer and don't suck I'm ok with that. I mostly drive highway and not a lot of need for fast-wearing summer tires.

The eagle sports suck in wet conditions, but they have a nice rigid sidewall you can toss around nicely on dry pavement.

Most people do not like them. I chose to replace them with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 tires. Way more traction in all conditions, but are much less abusable. Finding the right tire that fits your driving style is important.

+1 for the MP4S. I bought a new set of wheels and paired them with the Michelins - night and day difference compared to the all-seasons. They ride like OEM but stick like glue. My other two cars came with summer tires from the factory and I was disappointed the Civic did not. Needless to say, I didn't wait long to swap them out.

Anyone know if the car has to come with the $200 HPT option or will the dealer add them to any Si for $200?

I asked a salesman but he didn't seem to know.

Comes from the factory with the special tires. Not a lot of them shipping lately.
