Holy crap. Is that legit? Looks like they combined the sedan taillights with the coupe center light bar.

What’s with the bubbles on top of the taillights that looks horrible . On my 2014 Elantra coupe the taillight did look like the Dodge Charger taillights

Already a thread about this, but apart from the rear looking too much like our civics, I think the Sonata looks good. Looks Better than the Accord imo...if you're gonna copy at least they did a decent job with the car's design.

This is off the subject but I moved to Florida five years ago from New York and I miss fresh White Castle hamburgers

I like the front.... it reminded me of Maserati. But I have not owned a Hyundai, so I am not sure how reliable they are.

Most if not all recent Toyotas have that fin. It's supposedly for aerodynamics..

Check the tail light and near the side mirror/A-pillar.

I have had four, two Elantras ('93, '17), and two Sonatas ('12, '14). I didn't have any reliability issues with any of them, although I didn't have the '93 Elantra for even a year. It was damaged severely from some crazy high school kids hooning their beater out of a convenience store and slamming into me. The car wasn't totaled, but I won't keep any car after having that much damage.

Other than routine maintenance, none of the cars were ever in the shop at all. Hyundais have come a long way from their early days in the US.

I kinda like the front... it looks like the LED treatment continues back from the headlight along the fender.

A ibt overkill IMO. Maybe because it also has the silver trim underneath.

The design is growing on me, be interesting to see what the final design looks like.
