I am here in Arizona and working with a dealer using chase bank concierge program and this guy is stuck on 43500 out the door for 2020 type r new color boost blue. Is it worth it because I know right now during this covid19 ordeal dealers will do whatever to get a sale. Thats why other brands offering 0%apr, no payments for 6 months. Do you guys think 43500 is acceptable current time for 2020 boost blue type r? It will be at the dealer in end of april. I feel right now i should be able to get down to 40k possibly 39 or 38 with trade in (4k in equity) and cash to put down if need be. Credit is fantastic. He "knocked" off 1k for the vip chase bank program. I just feel 38 to 40 is acceptable with current situation its either you want a sale or not. Everyone here is afraid to go outside in Arizona place is like ghost town. Nows the time to buy when I theoretically have the power. Give me your thoughts guys.... this is going down this week or I am telling this guy to enjoy no sales for quota this month!
I agreee.... the 43500 is the OTD price with tax title license BS fees, dude hasnt seen me face to face yet this is just over the phone thus far... once were in person his nuts will shrink and hell start to think smart and not be stupid im sure
What's the deal breakdown? I lived in AZ but don't recall the tax implications of a trade (I preferred to by used private party and avoid taxes...).

But, if this were a straight buy,

CTR at MSRP with destination would be about 37,900
Plus dealer fee of ~$500 = 38,400
Plus AZ tax and reg of ~4k = 42,800

Anyway, MSRP is fair on an incoming 2020. But you need to know the actual value of your trade...

No.

I think $36,995 is a fair price.

Asking $7k above MSRP with the stock market in the dumps and falling fast? Crazy.

In GA, most dealers around selling for 3-5k over for 2020. But there isn't any in that color here yet. I think those dealers who have the 2019 model laying around will sell those at MRSP but 2020 will have some type of mark up. 7k over is going overboard though.....

I agree with that....
Value of my trade 14600 bone dry, now I know after market parts it won't budge too much but brand new 235x40x18 bridgestone potenzas 980ae, niche verona gloss black 18in 40offset (not a rash or chip in site just faded lugnuts(replacing) all the other goodies I am taking off and sold already (CAI , chip,) only other pieces are custom honeycomb grille, led bulbs and black gloss roof wrap, full suntek quality tint with strip) there should be some value there because it's gonna sell just from aesthetics alone, interior black cloth flawless, 42k miles, oh it will have a jl audio amp behind headunit, leaving that dont feel like tearing that apart. Anyone with an idea as far as value gain with all listed aftermarket/custom? Pics included of her sweet ass.....

Aftermarket parts never add value. It actually makes it lose value.

earlier someone mentioned ADM, what does ADM mean or stand for please help me out... thanks
↑
My only concern is they will tie you to ADM and it won't show up in April.
Help me out here not recollecting what ADM is?

ADM: Additional Dealer Markup
Or as on window sticker "Market Adjustment".

People view modified cars as lesser value because they're more likely to be abused and driven hard. Also, modifications really cut down on how broad of a market demographic the car will appeal to, which again lowers its value. To get the most money out of it, revert it to bone stock and sell whatever aftermarket parts you have separately.

Not if it's a private sale and it's genuine Honda CF accessories for example. Yeah if you trade take them off put factory back on and have a part out sale.

Even in a private sale, a modified car is much harder to sell for reasons already listed. Honda accessories i wouldn't really classify as modified. I am talking aftermarket mods.

As in the car in question pictured above, tint, wheels, roof wrapped, stereo system etc.. Those are individual taste mods which drastically lowers appeal to the broader market.
