I can confirm that 70MPH is 2800rpms in my 2020.

Also I get absolutely no drone at all even cruising at 80-85.
I cruise at 75 in my 2020 and it’s at almost 3k on the nose. On a drive from Nevada to Cali I was ::ahem:: cruising at 100 and it was at 4k. And yes, 50 is at 2k, so it’s a nice 25 mph every 1k in RPM. Never tried it, but I think it’s safe to assume that 125 would be at 5k :)

My 2020 Si Sedan sits at 3k RPM at 74MPH in 6th gear. NO need to downshift when passing-the power is there!

Curious to know your average highway MPG to see how how different it might be from previous model years

I make around 27 mpg. almost all my miles are highway miles
I'm at 40k miles on my 17 Si (owned since Spring 18) and have 35 mpg all-time, mostly highway. I do spirited driving quite often but I drive a lot of miles daily. Either way I think we are going to see significant decreases in overall MPG figures with the 2020 like these.

I've watched / read a ton of reviews before buying the car. I think the most negative-leaning reviews (e.g. Redline) were lamenting that Honda had gone away from high-revving VTEC towards the turbo engine, losing something special along the way. Three years later, I think that's less of an issue, and reviewers are just looking at how good the car is, rather than what it was.
Agree, I have had a 2006 SI and 2013 SI and I quite happy with my 2019s engine. I dont miss having to rev to 7000 rpm to turn onto a high speed road with cars speeding one after another. The speed and power is a little lower down which is perfect for the traffic conditions where I live. Sometimes Redline is a little too into himself on his reviews and mixes a little more of his personal opinion versus say Alex on Autos.

My 2018 already blows the tires of in 1st and 2nd gear with a tune, I certainly wouldn't want the new gearing.

The new gearing as actually pretty nice. I have the +9 Hondata flash on my car and ill blow through first, second and chirp third. The new gearing actually accelerates much faster. I may give up top speed because of it, but I prefer it. One of my buddies has a '19 SI and you can really feel the difference in acceleration between both cars.

I consistently getting 28-29 mpg in a mix of about 90% city and 10% highway driving, which is between 40 and 50 mph usually. Highway 70+ I get better results than at 40 around town. That's using 91 octane. In Sport mode it'll burn a little more, but not much. I use Sport mode on the highway when it's heavy rain usually, because the stiffer suspension combined with the limited slip, REALLY makes a huge difference

Doing a lot of city driving I get 31-32. I average 39-40 daily cruising 45 minutes to work. I always run 93 and I'm running Vits stage 1 Si tune.

That's excellent...i expect mine will get a little better yet, its still new and the numbers are still averaging out. Haven't really had a real long highway drive yet.

I hadn't checked it in a while and this thread made me look. Got 43 MPG on the commute home.

Has anyone (in these reviews or elsewhere) published an acceleration test for the 2020? Ideally someone who also tested a prior year 10th gen Si. I still haven't seen anything concrete regarding the impact of the final drive change. I've read some comments along the lines of "it feels a little bit faster" but I'd like to see some actual data, if it exists.
I've been looking around for the same thing. The 2017-2019 Si turned in 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and 1/4 mile in 14.8 seconds (Car and Driver). My best guess is it will be 0-60 in 6.1 and 1/4 mile in 14.2, but I'm dying to see actual confirmed numbers because I think the 14.2 is a bit overzealous. ;)

14.2 sec for a 205hp car... don’t think so
