So the new 2020 base stereo is a touchscreen unit with Apple car play/android auto. Does anyone know if this would be a direct replacement for my 2018 sport base stereo?

No. People have tried, it throws a security code. You have a base model. Go aftermarket.

Well, the problem is that those radios are all the same. Dasaita, Seicane, Phoenix, Eonon, just to name a few. That's why I don't trust 'em. It's like buying a 20 dollar android tablet from big lots. It might work, it might not. The ones that don't work probably get returned. The ones that do, the people who got it in working condition decide to make a review. When it comes to reviews as well, you gotta consider the scope. Millions may buy, but very very few actually review it.
