Have to agree. I know this is personal preference but from an aesthetic standpoint, I would have not bought the type R if the wing wasn't part of the car's aero. It makes it look like a sports car(disguises somewhat the hatchback shape). Otherwise, It just looks like a grocery-getting hatchback and that is definitely not me. That being said, if the smaller spoiler could've been removed without any visual adverse effects(can't be done as it looks terrible), that would have been nice since it would take off some of the business on the rear. Just a thought.

to each his own, but... the car looks goofy as hell without the wing.

Hey man, if you like it without the wing power to you. I have to agree with the other commenters, the wing is part of the identity of the car for me.

You should have driven 100mph + with it on so you know how much you changed the driving characteristics of the car

All the other comments, opinions, and theories on the wing being removed are appreciated. Entertaining, fellas.
It’s your car, who cares about those nobodies. Can’t wait for the wheels and next mods to come

I like the no spoiler look. Covering the mounting points/holes is another story, though. If there was a clean solution, I'd be all over it.

It does make the car look a bit goofy. But I like the uniqueness of it. If anything, I'd go back and forth between having it on for some time, and off the other.

Being a DD, I'm not concerned about the 66 pounds of downforce at 120mph. I like keeping my license :D

It's beautiful, man. Thanks for the link. I would love to own one.
Thanks for the kind words. Appreciate it. Now's the time to buy if you're interested in them. ~$40k gets you nice low mile clean example. Only 1,801 made.

Congrats on the car! What is ceramic tint?
Thanks you. It rejects 88% of solar heat
