The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is getting a pretty substantial refresh. (you can find articles on motortrend and car and driver websites)

They're of course adding standard safety tech (varies based on trim). they almost totally redid the front and rear of the car. And while i like the new rear end and taillights, the front just ... no... i've never been a huge fan of the Elantra styling, and the current gen was actually pretty handsome and i feel they've ruined it now. That grill, those pointed lights, besides looking less upscale, IMO, than the previous face, it has terrible toyota vibes and clashes with the rest of the hyundai lineup.

I think it looks better, but looks are subjective. I wonder what the sport trim will look like.

The front end is quite a departure but overall not too bad.

Don't know how I feel about the styling. I think Hyundai took the term "looking sharp" a little too literally, I personally like a car with more curves than edges. The back end looks okay, but the front part of the car with its triangular headlights are a little too long and don't look that great to me. Still would take the CivicX styling over this any day. Even the older gen Elantra looked better than this easily.

There are plenty of other blogs out on the World Wide Web. Unless you’re making fun of the car, sort of like a roast, please stick to topics in relation to the 10th generation Honda Civics.
